The College Squash Association and U.S. Squash are pleased to announce that they are co-sponsoring the five-person team that is representing the United States at the 2010 World University Games.

The Trinity men's squash team was honored by the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park after the team won it's record 12th consecutive College Squash Association (CSA) National Team Championship crown this year.  

Women’s Squash Responsibilities: Assist the head coach in the coaching, organization and administration of the program including but not limited to practice and match preparation; attending all practices and scheduled matches; academic and athletics support for students; recruiting assistance; drilling with and playing team members; video-taping and match analysis; organization and implementation of fundraising activities.

Academic success is crucial to any college sport, including squash.  Therefore, the Men’s College Squash Association recognizes scholar athletes.

In a spring rite as regular as hay fever, colleges unhappy with their winter sports coaches fire them. Most depart to little controversy, such as Al Skinner, Boston’s College’s multimillion-dollar men’s basketball coach who recently joined the unemployed.

Here is the official announcement by Harvard following news that 11 year squash coach Satinder Bajwa's contract would not be renewed:

Despite coming off a successful season, in which he won three national titles with the men’s and women’s teams, Harvard squash coach Satinder Bajwa will not see his contract renewed for next year, according to multiple sources.

With tongue firmly planted in cheek, I offer the following video as an alternative ending to the College Squash match between Baset Chaudry and Kenneth Chan that ended with much acrimony and negative press.

Toronto’s Colin West and Laura Gemmell, both representing Harvard won men’s and women’s College Squash Association (CSA) titles this past weekend at Trinity College in Hartford, CT.
